Frequently asked questions

The short answers — how the network works, what comes back on a hit, how accounts move, how the data stays secure, and how pricing runs. Anything not covered here: contact@enrolledhits.com.

The services

How do customers typically start?

With the full picture: scrub the entire inventory once and list it on monitoring at the same time. After that, scrub new placements weekly as they arrive — each batch joins the watch — and monitoring reports the changes monthly.

How is a scrub different from monitoring?

A scrub is a point-in-time check of a portfolio. Monitoring keeps watching: the whole inventory is re-checked monthly and the changes come back — new enrollments and drop-outs. The full comparison is in monitoring vs. one-time scrub.

Can you watch my portfolio continuously?

Yes — that is monitoring: load the entire inventory once and receive a change report every month, with nothing to resubmit.

The data

What comes back on a hit?

The enrollment status — currently enrolled, or dropped out with the date the consumer left — the debt settlement company holding the enrollment, and an “as of” date. Every scrub and every cycle also carries the analysis: hit rate, the enrolled vs. dropped split, and the companies ranked by count. The records are described in full on the enrollment data page.

How fresh is the data?

The network is kept current — refreshed as often as daily — and every hit carries an “as of” date, so exactly how current an answer is is never a guess.

Does the network cover credit counseling (DMP) enrollments?

No. EnrolledHits covers for-profit debt settlement programs only — no debt management plan records.

Delivery & security

How do I submit accounts?

Two secured ways: real-time API calls, or SFTP file transfers for full portfolios. Accounts are provisioned during onboarding — credentials, transfer folders, and API keys are issued then. Both channels are encrypted end to end.

Is my data safe with you?

Identifiers are converted to one-way hashes (HMAC-SHA-256) on arrival; raw SSNs are never stored, and a complete SSN is never displayed in any result. The full treatment is on the Privacy, Security & Compliance page.

Do you store raw Social Security numbers?

No. Accounts arrive over encrypted SFTP or API, every identifier is converted to a one-way hash on arrival, and matching happens entirely on those hashes. There is no raw file to exchange, forward, or lose — that is the point of the spreadsheet problem page.

Pricing

How much does it cost?

Pricing runs on plans set by volume — scrub volume, monitored inventory, turnaround, and the depth of data returned all factor in. The four factors are broken down on the scrub cost page, and the plans are on the pricing page.

Are there setup or platform fees?

No platform fees and no minimums to start. The rate is set by the plan and the volume — that is the model.

How does the autopay break work?

Keep a credit card on file for autopay and an additional discount applies to every invoice automatically, for as long as the card arrangement stays in place.

Getting started

How do I get started?

Onboarding begins with a mutual NDA — download it, sign it, and upload it back — then secured access is provisioned and the first full-inventory scrub runs, with monitoring turned on the same day. One email opens the conversation: contact us.

Do debt settlement companies see their own hits?

Yes. When a search matches an enrolled client, the match information for that company’s own clients is returned to the company free of charge — through the company portal.
